Sunday Recap: HUGE Monroe + Grand Lux G-Shock Twin

Sunday was a pretty good day I’d say. I ventured with the family to downtown Chicago where we checked out the huge 26-foot Marilyn Monroe sculpture/installation. A beautiful & truly larger than life icon towered above onlookers. And, we actually saw some guy propose to his girlfriend when we arrived at the scene, so I guess it’s a BIG deal.

Then, we went to Grand Lux Cafe for a nice dinner. I was wanting to go to The Cheesecake Factory, but Grand Lux was convenient, it’s owned by the same people, & it has less locations so it’s more exclusive. And, I wouldn’t have met my doppelganger if we didn’t go there! We were actually at the bar when a server came up to me & pointed out that we both had nice G-Shock watches. Pretty random huh? BUT THEN, we heard the bar tender call his name, “Cameron…” she said… We got a nice kick out of it, & then he turned out to be our server. Now that’s fate haha. Check what I captured below:
