80s + early 90s sports cars had it all. They had good performance + nice styling. I have grown to realize that I am not a big fan of a lot of the vehicles that have been released in the later 90s/00s. The newer vehicles are too smooth, blobish, and they lack personality due to their loss of angles. All that is done in the name of aerodynamics.

The 80s sports cars simply looked great! The sharp edges/cuts, vents, angles, are the best things that make them look fast, even when they are still. I mean, I do accept some rounded styles from the early 90s, but even those are basically slightly rounded versions of their predecessors. They’re not completely featureless, sanded down, egg-smooth sports cars. The sports cars of yesteryear have more personality, and I am happy that I own one from that age (CRX).
