Vintage Poster Design

I really do like the look of poster from years past. I like the emphasis on hand created painting/illustrative imagery and clean typography. They bring out the essence design by focusing on clean and simple layouts. I like them better than some of the posters of today because the drawings and paintings were originally done by hand, and they give off a more fine art feel. They definitely bridge the gap between graphic design and art. This Monaco race poster is one of my favorites.
