Daily Dosage #46: Digital Paint

Happy new year to the world. Been keeping busy with life in 2013 so far and even faced some car adversity (lost my baby CRX :,[ haha). This year is off to an interesting star as it has been good with a sprinkle of bad news.

But nonetheless, I am back with more work! I went back to some work from a previous project I was working on. I found myself interested in creating digital painting elements/art when I was interning at Sony. I wated to do similar work to that of a concept artist. I drew the chain and then scanned it and went to work.

For this one, I wanted to teach myself brush techniques and I really tried to make some realistic fabric with the highlights and shadows… I basically just used a lot of the smudge tool haha
